Clinical Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator on our Med/Surg Unit at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within the hospital.
  • Schedule employee shifts and ensure admitting and discharge functions provide optimal patient flow.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with physicians.
  • Ensure hospital resources are used in the most efficient manner.
  • Assign patients to appropriate health practitioners.
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
  • American Red Cross approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Telemetry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
