We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Director of Faculty Affairs at InsideHigherEd. This role will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and support to our faculty members, ensuring their success and well-being in their academic pursuits.
Key Responsibilities- Faculty Recruitment and Appointment: Develop and implement effective strategies for faculty recruitment, selection processes, and contracting.
- Accreditation and Compliance: Manage accreditation and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines and program review processes for all program offerings.
- Assessment Strategy: Lead AAP's assessment strategy across the portfolio and implement the University's assessment management system, AEFIS.
- Professional Development: Collaborate with the IRC and faculty to provide professional development opportunities on topics related to teaching excellence.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Occupy a prominent leadership role in the division, represent the division's interests effectively, and collaborate with other members of the senior leadership team on division-wide strategic planning efforts.
- Master's Degree: Required.
- Management Experience: Eight years of management experience in a complex higher education environment required.
- Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in faculty affairs, compliance, accreditation, and academic planning.
- Advanced Degree: PhD, JD, MFA, or MBA preferred.
