Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of five years of maintenance experience or a suitable combination of education and experience
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting up to 480 VAC
- Ability to install conduit and size wiring per circuit requirements according to the National Electrical Code
- Experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems from setup to I/O validation
- Skills in cutting and welding various metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the functionality of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams and operational manuals.
- Identify problems by observing equipment in operation and utilizing precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with external support, including OEMs and vendor service technicians, to maximize equipment performance.
- Conduct repairs using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools, including minor fabrication tasks.
- Execute preventative maintenance procedures using various measuring instruments.
- Adjust functional components of devices using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Minimize downtime through timely maintenance and improvement of PM procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to plan and schedule maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.
- Fabricate repair parts as necessary using machine shop equipment.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and supplies by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
