New York Institute of Technology is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online asynchronous graduate Data Science courses. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and programming languages, with experience in teaching and/or industry. The position is contingent on applicable rank and hourly rate.
Responsibilities
The Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for teaching online Data Science courses, including programming, data mining, data visualization, and machine learning. The candidate should have excellent English language skills and be able to ensure strong, two-way communications and the development of collaborative, collegial relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a M.S or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related area. Teaching experience or industrial experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and programming languages is preferred. The candidate should also have experience in teaching and/or industry in all areas of Data Science, with an emphasis on candidates whose experience and expertise complement and extend the strengths of our faculty.
