Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of production and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures

Ensure high standards for quality workmanship, safety, and housekeeping by adhering to company policies and procedures.

Install, Maintain, and Repair Production Equipment

Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and plant facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Assist with Equipment Validation and Start-up

Assist with the validation and start-up of new production equipment and processes to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

Implement Preventative Maintenance Measures

Implement and perform preventative maintenance measures for all manufacturing equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and Repair Production Equipment

Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Maintain Inventory and Supplies

Maintain inventory of repair equipment, parts, tools, and supplies to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

Use Variety of Tools and Equipment

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Respond to Emergencies

Respond quickly to emergencies, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Perform Minor Repairs and Maintenance

Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as needed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Learn Operations of Shop Equipment

Learn operations of shop equipment and assist in production when not working on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Perform Other Maintenance Duties

Perform other maintenance duties as requested to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in repairing manufacturing equipment.

Proven Experience as a Maintenance Technician

Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and other systems.

Knowledge of General Maintenance Processes

Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

High School Diploma or GED

High school diploma or GED required.

Effective Communication Skills

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Ability to Work Well with Minimal Supervision

Ability to work well with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.

Physically Capable of Lifting 50 Pounds

Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.

Ability to Work Overtime

Capable of working overtime as needed to support equipment.
