Position Overview:

This role is primarily focused on the management of medical records and patient information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with LCDF policies and standards. The individual will also support various front office operations, particularly in delivering exceptional customer service to patients at the designated clinic.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and safeguard medical records and patient information.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to patients and assist with front office tasks.
  • Ensure adherence to confidentiality protocols and LCDF standards.

Essential Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating courtesy and respect; bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse staff members.
  • Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Basic math and office skills, including proficiency in Windows-based software and office equipment.
  • Commitment to treating patients with respect and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical terminology course is preferred.
  • One year of experience in a records department is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
