Product Visionary Role Overview

The VP of Product at Read AI will be a pivotal leader in shaping the company's product vision and driving execution against our strategic objectives. This individual will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, optimizing product performance, and ensuring that Read AI becomes a leader in the direct-to-consumer digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform product decisions, optimize features, and enhance user experience.
  • Build out product roadmaps, set priorities, and maintain team accountability to timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Foster a strong team by providing opportunities for learning, supporting career development, and encouraging collaboration.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze consumer analytics to drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing.
  • Foster and nurture online communities, leveraging user feedback for continuous product enhancement.
  • Stay actively involved in the product development process, not solely managing a team of PMs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years in product management or a related role with a focus on AI or consumer products.
  • Company Stage Experience: Familiarity and success within a startup environment where you successfully navigated the complexities of scaling revenue into the millions, showcasing a talent for driving significant growth.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in both B2C (consumer applications) and B2B (SaaS products) environments.
  • Retention Focus: Proven track record of delivering products that drive high user retention organically.
  • PLG Growth: Strong focus on product-led growth strategies.
  • Collaboration: Experience working directly with engineering and business teams.
  • Data Orientation: Strong background in product analytics, consumer analytics, optimization, and A/B testing.
  • Skills: Proven experience in building and growing a team while establishing processes, creating documentation, and laying a strong foundation for scale. The candidate should balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.

Annual Total Cash Compensation Range: $150,000 to $190,000; however, actual salaries can vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies.
