Key Responsibilities:
- Support physicians during patient consultations and facilitate comprehensive care.
- Address patient inquiries and provide necessary guidance regarding care.
- Gather and monitor clinical data pertinent to patient health.
- Formulate treatment strategies in accordance with established protocols.
- Inform patients about cancer therapies and medication regimens.
- Engage in initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and care quality.
- Oversee the training of new nursing staff and manage support personnel.
- Ensure adherence to billing and coding standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
- At least three years of relevant nursing experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
