Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapy Professional with HCR Home Care, you will play a vital role in delivering occupational therapy services to patients in their homes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Instructing patients and families in activities of daily living.
  • Establishing household management routines.
  • Instructing patients and their families in the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.
  • Educating patients and caregivers in the use of appropriate adaptive equipment.
  • Managing the falls risk of patients through proper evaluation, care planning, patient/family education, and communication with other clinical disciplines.
  • Recording and reporting to the physician the patient's response to the occupational therapy program or any changes in the patient's condition.
  • Communicating with other health team personnel involved with the care of the patient.
  • Preparing clinical/progress notes on the day of the visit, which are incorporated in the clinical record.
  • Attending case conferences and staff meetings.
  • Directing or assisting with the management of home health aide service delivery.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful as an Occupational Therapy Professional with HCR Home Care, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
