Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our retail tissue product system. This pivotal position collaborates closely with reliability and maintenance teams to devise long-term asset strategies.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Drive excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance by identifying and addressing critical risks.
  • Enhance the reliability of converting assets through the development and execution of asset strategies.
  • Oversee daily operations of converting assets, establishing operational targets and equipment setup procedures.
  • Assist operators in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analyses.
  • Improve long-term asset performance by aligning with business and departmental objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for capability enhancement, including potential capital projects.
  • Lead or contribute to capital project scope development, engineering, execution, and startup.
  • Provide technical expertise on converting assets and facilitate knowledge transfer within the operating team.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in maintaining and troubleshooting converting equipment.
  • Preferred: Three or more years of engineering experience, particularly in the pulp or paper industry.
  • Experience with reliability systems and asset strategy development.
  • Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Experience coordinating with corporate business leaders and executing capital projects.
