Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to play a pivotal role in the retail tissue product system. This position is essential for collaborating with reliability and maintenance teams to formulate long-term asset strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance by identifying and addressing critical risks.
- Enhance the reliability of converting assets through the development and execution of effective asset strategies.
- Oversee daily operations of converting assets, establishing operational targets and equipment setup procedures.
- Assist operators in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities for long-term asset performance improvements aligned with business objectives.
- Lead or participate in capital project scope development, engineering, execution, and startup activities.
- Provide technical expertise on converting assets and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 6 months of engineering experience, or alternatively, three or more years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting converting equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least three years of engineering experience, ideally within the pulp or paper industry.
- Familiarity with maintenance and reliability engineering principles.
- Experience with reliability systems such as SAP and Asset Care Applications.
- Proficiency in Asset Strategy Development, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
