About the Role

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the position of Ambulatory Surgery Center Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our ambulatory surgery center, ensuring that all aspects of the facility are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of the operating functions, processes, and staff of the facility.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the Governing Board, Medical Staff, and all departments of the facility, promoting positive relationships and effective communication.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop, evaluate, and promote implementation of a continuous quality improvement program, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and accrediting agencies.
  • Financial Management: Develop, monitor, and control the staffing needs, operations budget, and capital budget, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Human Resources: Manage exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring sound principles of practice and fairness, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Clinical Services: Ensure that surgical programs and clinical services are in compliance with regulatory body and accrediting body standards, working in conjunction with the Medical Director and Medical Executive Committee.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a nursing or Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum three years of experience in a top administrative or management position in the healthcare field.
  • Skills: Good command of the English language, both verbal and written, and ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
