Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled administrative professional to assist the Division Supervisor in managing the office and performing various duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clerical and secretarial work, excellent customer service skills, and proficiency in computer applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Division Supervisor in managing office operations and completing assigned tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the general public and Town departments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records using office procedures and machines.
- Operate the Headquarters base 2-way mobile radio with confidence.
- Exercise confidentiality and discretion when necessary.
- Perform tasks requiring strong math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Access, Excel, and Pentamation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma with courses in office procedures and computer skills.
- Three years of experience in secretarial or administrative work, customer service, or any combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with Town government is an asset.
Compensation: $52,500 - $72,750 per year.
