Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. This full-time float position will provide coverage as needed for different clinical teams, acting as the first point of contact for patients in clinical areas.

  • Coverage as needed for different clinical teams (direct patient care and/or administrative)
  • Act as first contact with patients in clinical areas
  • Obtain and input (via EHR) medical histories, vitals, medications, and Meaningful Use Information (MIP)
  • Set up injections, assist with injections, if required
  • Field, triage, and address patient calls
  • Daily maintenance of exam rooms stock, biohazard bins, and sharps containers
  • Complete other duties assigned by providers and Clinical Manager

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Medical Assistant (with or without certification), CNA, or ATC
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously for at least four hours
  • Ability to transfer patients from wheelchair to exam table or chair, if necessary
  • Ability to lift and hold limbs as needed
