We are currently seeking a UI/UX Web Engineer to become a vital part of our Mission Technology Division.

Position Overview:
Deliver specialized front-end development services for both internal and external web platforms.

Oversee the maintenance of websites utilizing various web technologies and distinct codebases.

Collaborate with back-end service teams to seamlessly integrate REST APIs into front-end solutions.

Engage independently with clients, receiving assignments through multiple communication channels.

Present demonstrations of new features and functionalities to stakeholders.

Create new websites employing the latest iterations of modern JavaScript frameworks.

Document processes and assist program management in tracking deliverables.

Support the back-end services team in crafting user stories and features for ongoing and future projects.

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development related to web technologies.

At least 2 years of experience with contemporary JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue).

Proficiency in using and developing for at least one content management system (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, SharePoint).

Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines.

Familiarity with REST design principles.

Ability to produce self-contained, reusable, and testable code.

Experience in integrating front-end content with REST or HTTP APIs.

Extensive experience with Git for source code management.

Capability to decompose large tasks into smaller, manageable components.

Experience working within Agile frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science).

Experience in PHP development.

Experience in designing wireframes and comprehensive mockups.

Back-end experience, including NOSQL Database Management, AWS Lambda development, and AWS API Gateway configuration.

Experience in both commercial and C2E AWS environments.

Familiarity with OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect or SAML.

Experience in building infrastructure for serving front-end applications and assets.

Experience with the US Web Design System and Material Design principles.

Candidates must possess a current TS/SCI security clearance w/Polygraph.
