Job Overview

As an integral part of our team at Deery Brothers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Waukee, the Automotive Service Lane Attendant plays a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring a seamless service experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome all clients entering the service area with a warm and professional demeanor, addressing their inquiries and guiding them to the right personnel or location.
  • Assess whether clients have scheduled appointments, documenting essential details such as their name, vehicle identification number (VIN), license plate number, mileage, and any pre-existing vehicle damage.
  • Manage the flow of service traffic, oversee parking arrangements, and assist with loaner vehicles as necessary. Ensure vehicles are parked appropriately after service write-ups.
  • Drive vehicles safely and report any damage to the lot immediately, with a goal of maintaining zero damage.
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the cashier for pick-up, waiting at the vehicle to express gratitude for their business.
  • Install protective coverings such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and identification tags in all vehicles brought in for service.
  • Deliver keys and repair orders to the designated Service Advisor promptly after parking a vehicle.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service drive area, ensuring it is free from debris, water, leaves, and dirt.
  • Transport vehicles between the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as required.
  • Create key tags for vehicles as needed.
  • Exhibit a professional appearance at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include shuttling customers or picking up necessary parts for repairs.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any incidents to a manager or supervisor without delay.
