Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and meet the needs of our diverse student population.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and center policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in early childhood education.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support school events and programs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in early childhood education or a related field.
  • An Associate degree in early childhood education or a related field, with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of child development and learning principles.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to pass a full background check and health screening.
  • Physical ability to lift and/or carry 25lbs, and to kneel, bend, squat, or crawl as needed.
