Medical Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical ICU Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a Medical ICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in the Medical ICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, incorporating evidence-based practice and patient-centered care principles.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, utilizing electronic documentation systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
- Current STABLE certification, required.
