Dermatology Liaison

Golden State Dermatology is a leading dermatology group with a strong presence in California, offering a wide range of medical, surgical, and cosmetic services. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Liaison to join our team.

The Physician Liaison will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with primary care physicians, OBGYNs, and pediatricians to increase patient referrals and generate new business opportunities. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively promote our services and benefits to physicians and their staff.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with primary care physicians, OBGYNs, and pediatricians to build loyalty and increase patient referrals
• Strategically plan and implement outreach efforts to generate new patient volume within the healthcare community
• Identify and follow through on opportunities with skill and persistence to overcome objections
• Educate external physicians and staff about the scope and benefits of our dermatology services
• Execute strategic physician marketing strategies and provide collateral to referring physicians
• Organize and schedule necessary physician meetings, including lunches and dinners
• Interpret profitability and establish appointment tracking mechanisms to demonstrate positive ROI
• Utilize a referral management system to schedule and record the results of outreach activities
• Gather intelligence related to the payor landscape to expand contracting

• Demonstrated ability to identify, seek out, and secure new relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare industry, including expanding offerings to practitioners patients and their referrals
• Demonstrated ability to organize market information by creating a market map of existing and potential referral sources
• Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills
