Job Description

As an HR Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to the management team in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. Your duties will include:

  • Benefits Administration: Coordinate and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, and disability insurance.
  • Workers Compensation: Manage workers compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Unemployment Claims: Handle unemployment claims and respond to any related inquiries or investigations.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all HR-related activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including employment law, labor law, and equal employment opportunity law.
  • Disability and Leaves of Absence: Coordinate and manage employee leaves of absence, including family and medical leave, military leave, and disability leave.
  • Posting Positions to the Website: Post job openings on the company website and other relevant job boards.
  • Screening Internal Candidates: Screen internal candidates for promotions and transfers.
  • Onboarding and Orientations: Develop and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Running Reports: Run reports on various HR-related metrics, including time-to-hire, turnover rates, and benefits utilization.
