About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction management.

You will provide direction, coordination, and quality control to engineers-in-training, CAD operators, and designers.

Duties include designing simple projects, including grading, drainage, water/sewer, and utilities, as well as drafting complex report documents with minimal guidance.

You will perform final review of simple utility and drainage reports and stamp for approval.

In addition, you will develop complex models independently, lead meetings with clients and review agencies, present technical information, and maintain compliance to applicable codes, practices, quality control policies, performance standards, and specifications.

You will also perform quality control on tasks, budgets, schedules, and plans, and report on project status, determine project specifications, prepare cross-sections for plan documents, format base files from external project team members for public works projects, and perform design engineering on specific scopes or phases.

Bonus duties may include basic hydraulic and hydrology calculations, preparing specifications, accurately completing timecards, meeting deadlines, and attending project team and public meetings after hours.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Construction Management, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project planning and execution for land development projects.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and exposure to scheduling software ideal.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work with multiple disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Licensure:
  • Professional Engineering License.
Salary:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
