Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit a positive demeanor
  • Welcome all guests warmly
  • Clean and service up to 15 rooms per shift
  • Restock guestroom supplies and amenities
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in an orderly fashion
  • Sort and manage soiled or damaged linens and towels
  • Handle lost-and-found items appropriately
  • Provide guests with information about the property and hotel services
  • Perform evening turndown service as needed
  • Conduct routine maintenance on cleaning equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED required, or enrollment in a GED program with completion within six months
  • Must be at least nineteen years of age
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential (skills assessment will be conducted)
  • Preferred: Six months of experience as a room attendant in a hospitality setting
  • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds
  • Capability to work in environments with dust and to navigate high spaces; may require kneeling, climbing, and crawling
  • Successful completion of a job interview, including a guest service demonstration
  • Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Proficient in using standard office equipment
  • Good physical condition; able to pass a physical fitness assessment if required
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Open to travel and participate in required training
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Tribal Gaming License
  • Willingness to work in a smoke-filled environment
