As a valued member of our medical surgical department, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice.Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse RN Acute Care, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of medical surgical patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive efficient and effective care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. You will also have the opportunity to instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, and administer medications in accordance with physician orders.Requirements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or possess compact licensure. A nursing diploma or ASN is required, with a BSN preferred. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred, and current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and possess PC skills.About Us
