At Wabash General Hospital, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst to lead our IT infrastructure team. With a salary of $120,000 per year, this role offers a competitive compensation package for an individual with strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

This is a challenging position that requires the successful candidate to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing server infrastructure, network security, virtualization platforms, backup and disaster recovery systems, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure to ensure high availability and security
  • Implement and manage virtualization platforms to optimize resource utilization
  • Configure and manage backup and disaster recovery systems to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to ensure prompt resolution
  • Collaborate on IT projects, such as upgrades and migrations, to ensure seamless implementation

Security and Compliance:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security policies and procedures, conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.). Additionally, they will manage access controls, authentication, and authorization to ensure secure access to sensitive data.

Collaboration and Support:

As a key member of the IT team, the Senior Systems Analyst will provide technical support to end-users, collaborate with development teams on infrastructure requirements, develop and maintain technical documentation, and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.

Strategic Planning:

The ideal candidate will contribute to IT strategic planning and budgeting, research and recommend new technologies and solutions, and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT administration
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) preferred
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies preferred
  • Industry-recognized certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, etc.) preferred
