Infrastructure Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team at Wabash General Hospital. This is a critical position that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and effective communication.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and efficiency.
• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring network security, firewall configuration, and access controls.
• Implement and manage virtualization platforms, configure and manage backup and disaster recovery systems, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate on IT projects, such as upgrades and migrations.

Security and Compliance

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.).
• Manage access controls, authentication, and authorization.

Collaboration and Support

• Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with development teams on infrastructure requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and participate in on-call rotations for after-hours support.

Strategic Planning

• Contribute to IT strategic planning and budgeting, research and recommend new technologies and solutions, and implement cost-effective solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in IT administration.
• A strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with agile development methodologies are preferred.
• Industry-recognized certifications (MCSE, CCNA, CISSP, etc.) are also preferred.

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $120,000-$150,000 depending on location and experience.
