Patient Transport Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the patient transport vehicle.

Arrive promptly at designated locations to assist with patient pickups.

Support patients in safely boarding the transport vehicle, taking care to secure their personal items and documentation.

Safely convey patients, including managing any necessary medical equipment, while operating the transport vehicle.

Guarantee that all personal items and documentation accompany the patient to their destination.

Provide necessary reports on patient care to the receiving medical staff.

Obtain required signatures from patients and healthcare personnel as needed.

Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.

Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational capabilities with a keen eye for detail.

Effective time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment.

Proficient in using software for documenting and managing patient care reports.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

No more than one speeding violation in the past three years on a clean driving record.

A minimum of two years of driving experience, with candidates being at least 23 years old.

Completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory during the onboarding process.

Capability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (cost covered by the organization).

Physical Demands:
Extended periods of sitting and driving.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.

Full range of motion is necessary, including standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting, and grasping.

Compensation:
