Position Overview:
The Chief Administrative Officer of the Court of Appeals plays a pivotal role in the judicial system, overseeing the highest-ranking non-judicial operations within the Court.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess admission to the New York State Bar along with a minimum of ten (10) years of pertinent legal experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Administrative Officer is entrusted with a variety of essential duties, including but not limited to:
1. Collaborating with the Chief Judge and Associate Judges to develop and implement policies and procedures.
2. Managing administrative functions and supervising non-judicial staff within the Court and its associated agencies.
3. Providing guidance to judges on complex legal and procedural inquiries.

6. Participating in decision-making conferences and advising on budgetary requirements for the Court.
