Role Summary:We are looking for a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. This role involves contributing to various technical tasks and solving routine engineering challenges within a specified scope. The successful candidate will primarily collaborate with their immediate supervisor, project leaders, and fellow professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect, maintain, and organize technical data, including laboratory results and engineering modifications.
- Create engineering documentation, reports, and visual aids such as flow charts and schematics.
- Prepare analytical reports and summaries with quantitative assessments.
- Assist engineers in completing technical assignments.
- Support equipment selection and qualification processes.
- Collaborate with the team on general laboratory operations, including calibration and routine maintenance.
- Alert management to any factors that may impact project progress.
- Contribute to the development of prototype processes and testing setups.
- Execute established testing protocols and document results effectively.
- Assist in hardware troubleshooting.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma with at least 3 years of experience in a laboratory or regulated environment, adhering to written procedures and collaborating with teams.
Preferred Skills: Ability to understand and implement testing procedures, effective communication within cross-functional teams, problem-solving capabilities for routine technical issues, proficiency in computer usage, and the ability to mentor junior technicians.
