Job Summary

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our transportation group. The ideal candidate will have experience with civil infrastructure projects, particularly roadway and utility projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality civil drawings and 3D models using Bentley InRoads/OpenRoads and Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D.
  • Organize and maintain digital file databases for each project using Bentley ProjectWise software.
  • Utilize knowledge of tools and drafting to complete assigned tasks, including 2D and 3D model development, design changes, general arrangement drawing production, redlining, plotting, and drafting using CAD platforms.
  • Ensure the quality of drawings and graphic work produced for the team.
  • Communicate effectively with team members during 3D model and plan production.
  • Understand ProjectWise file structures and modifications to files for exchanges with other team members.
  • Create roadway alignments, profiles, templates, and corridors.
  • Develop CAD surface and digital terrain modeling.
  • Adhere to CAD standards and styles, quality assurance, and quality control procedures during drawing planning and production.
  • Meet project schedules.

Qualifications

  • Experience with civil infrastructure projects, particularly roadway and utility projects.
  • Proficiency in Bentley InRoads/Open Roads.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team player approach to design and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work within a team, sharing workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office products.
