Job Title: Software and Embedded Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software and Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team at Toyon Research Corporation.

About the Role

This position involves designing and developing software and embedded systems for various applications, including electronic warfare, navigation, and RF sensor processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software and embedded systems using C/C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Work with a team to integrate software and hardware components.
  • Develop and implement algorithms and software for embedded systems involving different sensor modalities.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to design and test electronic systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of physics and mathematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with MATLAB, C/C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Knowledge of embedded processors, FPGAs, SoCs, and other relevant technologies.
