Software Lifecycle Manager

KARL STORZ Endoscopy - America is seeking a highly skilled Software Lifecycle Manager to join our team. As a Software Lifecycle Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead mission-critical software system development for medical devices.
- Manage core technologies, ensuring efficient development with high quality and Agile integrity.
- Implement Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, and architectural infrastructure for continuous deployment.
- Oversee software implementation, testing, documentation, quality control, and support.
- Support regulatory processes (FDA approval).
- Manage budget, project schedules, recruiting, and R&D activities.
- Collaborate globally to drive business growth.
- Participate in technology trend analysis and project planning.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of industrial software development experience, 5+ years in software development management.
- Strong expertise in C/C++, Embedded SW Development, Linux.
- Medical device systems, regulatory efforts, and quality system regulations (21CFR Part 820, ISO13485, ISO9001).
- Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, architectural infrastructure.
- Algorithm construction, object-oriented design, and software development best practices.
- Microprocessor and embedded systems industry innovations and developments.
- Internet technologies, communication protocols, networking, and network security.
- Visionary thinking and strategic problem-solving.
- Agile leadership and collaboration expertise.
- Technical expertise in software development, architecture, and DevOps.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-centric approach.
- Injury and Illness Prevention Program (annually, OSHA requirement).
- Quality System training.
