About the Position:
  • Shift: Night - 3x12
  • Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, 45264
  • Pay Information: $1,544 per week

The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. This is an 8-13 week assignment that embraces the Select Medical Way and Core Values of the Company.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
  • Identifies teaching needs and goals related to the diagnosis of each patient.
  • Provides patient information and status in a timely manner for the Initial Team Conference and for Re-evaluation Team Conferences on a weekly basis.
  • Responsible and accountable for accurate, succinct and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions and patients response in the medical record in accordance with policy.
  • Participates in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit.
  • Uses a positive and encouraging approach to achieve patient goals and quality outcomes.
  • Initiates discharge planning on all patients from the day of admission.
  • Communicates all pertinent information regarding changes in patients status from one care provider to another, to support continuity of care and patient safety.
