Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Radiologic Imaging
    • Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, explaining the procedure and positioning patients for optimal results.
    • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated portions of the body, providing patient support and ensuring accurate results.
    • Adjust radiologic scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients, coworkers, and yourself.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, ensuring optimal performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
    • Work with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm in surgical and outpatient procedures.
    Additional Responsibilities
    • Radiologic Department Support
      • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
      • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
      • Assist with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable.
      Requirements

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The pay range for this position is $24.23-$34.86 based on direct and relevant experience.
