Emergency Nursing Department Leadership Position

The Emergency Department Director role at 77 Consultants demands exceptional clinical and administrative leadership in emergency medicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of organizational vision, mission, and standards for nursing services.
Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Administrative Leadership: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to support efficient operations and optimal resource allocation.
- Staff Management: Supervise and guide personnel, including performance evaluations, to ensure a high-performing team.
- Nursing Coordination: Coordinate nursing services with other healthcare disciplines to achieve seamless patient care.
- Trauma Program Oversight: Ensure compliance with state trauma designation requirements and lead the hospital trauma program.
To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess:
- Strong Communication Skills: Effectively resolve customer complaints and maintain strong relationships with staff and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Emergency Nursing: Stay up-to-date on the latest practices and trends in emergency nursing and pre-hospital care.
- Interpersonal and Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Make decisive judgments under pressure and analyze data to inform decision-making.
We seek candidates with:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Or an Associate Degree in Nursing with equivalent competencies and enrollment in a Bachelor's program.
- Master's Degree Preferred: However, relevant experience and skills are equally valued.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
