Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Champion emergency department excellence byleading clinical and administrative initiatives that enhancepatient care delivery and operationalefficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement inemergency care metrics patient satisfaction and departmentperformance
  • Lead and mentor amultidisciplinary team while fostering a positive collaborativework environment
  • Oversee the hospitals traumaprogram ensuring compliance with state requirements and maintainingtrauma designation
  • Develop and managedepartment budgets while optimizing resourceutilization
  • Implement evidencebased practicesthat advance emergency medicine capabilities
  • Build strong relationships with crossfunctional teams to ensurecoordinated care delivery
Qualifications:
  • RNlicensure in Iowa or eligibility for licensure through the nursingcompact
  • Advanced degree preferred demonstratedleadership experience with equivalent educationconsidered
  • Track record of success inemergency department leadership
  • Strongbusiness acumen combined with clinicalexpertise
  • Experience with trauma programoversight and regulatory compliance
  • Provenability to lead and develop highperforming healthcareteams
