Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Repair Specialist to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. As a key member of our Clinical Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of imaging, high energy, and biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of imaging, high energy, and biomedical equipment.
  • Work closely with clinical staff to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve equipment-related issues and improve overall patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in imaging and biomedical equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in an Electronics Technology related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) years experience in the maintenance and repair of diagnostic imaging equipment and high energy equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and auto liability/property damage insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, fluidic, and computer network fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze, test, repair, calibrate, install, and maintain electronic and electromechanical patient care devices and systems.
  • Knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and practices.
Physical Demands

The Imaging Repair Specialist will be required to:

  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Continually stand, walk, and climb stairs.
  • Occasionally push and pull equipment.
Working Conditions

The Imaging Repair Specialist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment with frequent exposure to radiation and other hazardous materials.
