Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will perform ultrasonic procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision, under the direction of the supervising Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have scanning abilities for OBGYN, abdomen, small parts, and vascular, with a strong focus on patient care and communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a culture of excellence within HexaQuEST Health, Inc. by maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to the Service and Behavioral Standards Caregiver document.
  • Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Capture and save high-quality ultrasound images, providing accurate representations of anatomy or pathology.
  • Provide clinical history and coordinate with front desk personnel to ensure a smooth ultrasound schedule.
  • Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and medical knowledge through continuing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved program in ultrasound technology required.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in ultrasound physics, general abdominal, OB/GYN required.
  • Current Sonography license issued by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech preferred.
