Located on a stunning stretch of the Atlantic Coast on Boston's North Shore, the Wylie Inn and Conference Center at Endicott College provides well-appointed accommodations, an on-site café, restaurant, bar, and a state-of-the-art IACC certified conference center, along with an elegant venue for social events, Tupper Manor. This picturesque 10-acre facility is ideal for retreats, conferences, or weekend getaways, and is just minutes away from historic downtown Salem, shopping, museums, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare banquet spaces as directed by the Banquet Captain, including setting up linens, service ware, and glassware.
  • Participate in pre-event roll call meetings to understand event specifics, including guest expectations.
  • Welcome guests and address their requests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with the Banquet Captain's instructions to maintain consistency throughout the event.
  • Efficiently clear dishes as guests finish each course and at the conclusion of the meal or event.
  • Replenish beverages as needed and check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Adhere to teamwork principles and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
  • After the event, reset the banquet area as per the Captain's guidelines to prepare for the next function and ensure sanitation of the space.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of safely lifting and maneuvering trays of food and beverages weighing up to 20-25 lbs.
  • Maintain a positive and energetic attitude during busy periods.
