Position Overview:

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist (Level III) to work in a hybrid capacity, combining on-site and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the formulation and execution of cyber information assurance (IA) and security protocols.
  • Oversee, create, and assess security initiatives within the organization. Engage in the analysis, design, and enhancement of security functionalities.
  • Evaluate general information assurance-related technical challenges and offer foundational engineering and technical assistance in addressing these issues.
  • Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments of systems and applications throughout all stages of the system development life cycle.
  • Assist in the coordination and escalation of security incidents following a tiered Incident Response strategy.
  • Possess experience in threat analysis and hunting, familiarity with various SIEMs, and analyst detection workflows in cloud environments.
  • Execute entry-level or developmental assignments, including building and deploying cloud security infrastructure and automating security operations for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain CI Poly is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in cyber security is essential.
  • Possession of one of the following certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC), or Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DIA, NGA, or NRO is advantageous.
  • Prior experience with DoD clientele is preferred.
