Job Summary

Allied Consultants, Inc. is a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are seeking an experienced Data Security Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze transactions to detect and mitigate fraud, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform queries and generate reports on fraud trends using security and fraud analysis tools.
  • Maintain a code library to ensure continued performance and effectiveness of fraud queries and tools.
  • Collect, process, and analyze digital evidence to support fraud investigations.
  • Respond to crises or urgent situations to mitigate immediate and potential threats.
  • Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to network resources.
  • Perform fraud risk analysis and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Read, interpret, and execute scripts on Windows and UNIX systems.
  • Assess and monitor fraud events related to system implementation and testing practices.
  • Perform event correlation using information gathered from various sources to gain situational awareness.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of full-time experience in cybersecurity, information security, fraud analysis, systems analysis, programming, computer operations, IT business analysis, or other IT-related fields.
  • 1 year of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with risk management frameworks and security monitoring tools.
  • Systems Security Certified Professional (SSCP), Security+, or other security-related certifications.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or other fraud-related certifications.
