Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Create and enforce safety policies and procedures for all construction projects, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct Regular Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide Safety Training: Provide safety training to construction personnel, including new hires and subcontractors, to ensure they understand and follow safety protocols.
  • Investigate Accidents and Near Misses: Investigate accidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Maintain Safety Records: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers: Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety: A bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP): Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
