Customer Service Insurance Agent

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Customer Service Property and Casualty Insurance Agent to join our team at Fred Beans Automotive Group. As a customer-focused professional, you will provide exceptional service to our clients by handling inquiries, processing policy changes, and offering support for various property and casualty insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about property and casualty insurance policies, and assisting clients in understanding their coverage, policy terms, and exclusions.
- Policy Management: Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and endorsements, assist clients with claims reporting, and provide follow-up on claims status.
- Sales Support: Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional coverage or services, collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth policy issuance and client onboarding, and provide quotes for potential customers and explain the benefits of various coverage options.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions, ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and state laws, and prepare and submit required reports to management as needed.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor as necessary.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products is strongly preferred.
- Experience with EZLynx, Travelers, Progressive, NatGen, Liberty Mutual/Safeco is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid Property and Casualty Insurance license in PA and maintain continuing education and training as required to maintain licensing.
