The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled FPGA and Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Digital Electronics and Electromagnetics Department in Chantilly, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex digital systems, including FPGA-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop FPGA-based systems, including hardware and software components
- Develop and implement signal processing algorithms on FPGA and CPU-based platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA-based systems into larger projects
- Conduct research and development to improve FPGA-based system performance and efficiency
- Support customer programs by providing technical expertise and guidance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in FPGA design and development
- Strong understanding of digital electronics and signal processing
- Proficiency in FPGA development tools, such as Vivado and Quartus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with machine learning architectures on FPGA and GPU-based hardware
- Proficiency in popular SDR tools, such as GNURadio
- Strong background in scientific programming using languages such as C, C++, and Python
