We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Land group in Denver, CO as a Land Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing documents, agreements, permits, plats, and correspondence.
  • Monitor and track external and internal documents for timely execution and proper recording.
  • Research, analyze, input, and maintain contracts in internal Oxy systems.
  • Run reports, create exhibits, and provide ownership, lease, and well information from Oxy systems.
  • Analyze, research, input notices of development for land staff review.
  • Track contractual obligations.
  • Set up, process, and manage surface owner payments.
  • Assist the Landman with agreement review and external payments.
  • Coordinate surface land process milestones with various teams within the business unit.
  • Perform other administrative duties to support the company and contract land staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-starter and motivated learner who can work independently with minimal supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project milestones, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements.
  • Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications.

Salary Range: $53,700 - $91,000, plus discretionary bonus.

Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements may be considered for higher-level roles based on their experience, additional job requirements, and business needs.
