As a key player in the world’s foremost pizza organization, you will oversee the maintenance operations within a Domino's Pizza distribution manufacturing facility.

Role Responsibilities

The Maintenance Operations Supervisor will be tasked with:

  • Directing and managing the maintenance division.
  • Collaborating with the Director to formulate the maintenance budget and strategize equipment replacements.
  • Training, supervising, and mentoring maintenance personnel.
  • Assessing the need for outsourcing maintenance tasks and ensuring compliance with contractor guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing an annual maintenance schedule while adhering to preventative maintenance protocols.
  • Coordinating with various departments to schedule machine maintenance and ensuring all required tasks are completed.
  • Overseeing troubleshooting, repairs, and installations related to bakery processing machinery, structural components, and both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and managing the procurement of necessary parts.
  • Providing expertise in the installation, repair, or replacement of electrical components, including transformers, relays, and circuit breakers.
  • Ensuring the proper assembly and maintenance of piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, as well as HVAC and water distribution systems.
  • Identifying and documenting safety concerns with machinery, developing action plans for resolution, and following up to ensure issues are addressed.
  • Monitoring equipment to ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards, and creating action plans for any discrepancies.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical training with at least 2 years of experience in a skilled trade.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a supervisory role, including hiring and staff development.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Capability to perform under pressure during equipment failures.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to draw valid conclusions.
  • Understanding of technical instructions and diagrams.
  • Certifications such as Certified Electrician in Electrical and Refrigeration are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Safe Food Handling Practices.
  • Preferred: A B I (American Bakery Institute) certification.
  • Ability to work in environments with flour and yeast.
  • Experience with FIX systems is a plus.
  • Preferred: EPA Refrigeration Certification (Type II or Universal).
