Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Agency. The successful candidate will work closely with our Client Service Team to provide exceptional client support and ensure seamless delivery of benefits services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Client Service Team with the renewal process, gathering client census data and market proposals to verify benefits and premium rates.
  • Coordinate with carrier representatives to implement new plans and maintain accurate client and carrier spreadsheets.
  • Provide day-to-day client service, responding to client and carrier questions in a timely manner and ensuring accurate and current client data.
  • Develop good relationships with colleagues and maintain professional standards established by Marsh & McLennan.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience providing group health and benefits service, preferably at a brokerage or carrier.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Valid, unrestricted State of California Life & Disability License and continuing education requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a typical interior/office work environment, with occasional overtime and travel within driving distance.
