We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Specialist to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Agency. The successful candidate will work closely with our Client Service Team to provide exceptional client support and ensure seamless delivery of benefits services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Client Service Team with the renewal process, gathering client census data and market proposals to verify benefits and premium rates.
- Coordinate with carrier representatives to implement new plans and maintain accurate client and carrier spreadsheets.
- Provide day-to-day client service, responding to client and carrier questions in a timely manner and ensuring accurate and current client data.
- Develop good relationships with colleagues and maintain professional standards established by Marsh & McLennan.
- 3 years of experience providing group health and benefits service, preferably at a brokerage or carrier.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Valid, unrestricted State of California Life & Disability License and continuing education requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The successful candidate will work in a typical interior/office work environment, with occasional overtime and travel within driving distance.
