Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents in assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, and other post-acute care settings
  • Support residents with mobility, personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and other daily living activities
  • Monitor residents throughout shifts and communicate any concerns to the nursing team
  • Check vital signs and report any irregularities to supervising staff
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by changing linens and assisting with room cleanliness
  • Transport residents to and from wheelchairs, beds, and examination tables
  • Provide companionship and a compassionate ear to residents and their families
  • Communicate effectively with visitors, family members, and staff
  • Adhere to resident care plans diligently

Qualifications:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Understanding of nursing care procedures and medical terminology
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • High attention to detail
