Position Overview

The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) operates under the guidance of a Case Manager or Director of Nursing and is responsible for delivering care to assigned residents in alignment with their assessments and care plans, as well as directives from nursing management. The STNA collaborates with other licensed care professionals to ensure appropriate care is provided and adheres strictly to all company nursing protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong dedication to enhancing the quality of life while collaborating with community organizations in patient care

- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, engaging daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and STNA leadership

- Eagerness to pursue further certifications and educational opportunities

- Experience in providing individualized patient care while receiving robust support from a dedicated care team

- Capability to work autonomously on a daily basis

- Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance

- State Tested Nursing Assistant certification in the applicable state(s)

- CPR certification
