Your mission will be to identify and implement premier cloud architecture solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development of cloud migration and transformation strategies, along with infrastructure roadmaps across various landscapes including applications, information, business, and technology.
  • Design and establish comprehensive patterns and principles for secure cloud application environments, enhancing cloud platforms, application architecture, and integrating cloud services. Emphasize standards, guidelines, and compliance to ensure the quality and security of the codebase.
  • Initiate pilots and proof of concepts for proposed solutions, providing recommendations for approval.
  • Develop capabilities for automation practices to streamline system initialization, provisioning, and optimization, promoting self-service and autonomy.
  • Identify and assess architectural gaps to recommend new technologies.
  • Design and implement all facets of cloud service models and application delivery, including PaaS, Serverless, and Containerization infrastructures.
  • Document best practices and recommendations, while creating and maintaining templates and standards.
  • Establish and implement DevSecOps practices, alongside support, maintenance, and governance processes for the cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with development teams, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to deliver and sustain a robust cloud platform.
  • Ensure efficient monitoring of systems and applications, aligning service level objectives with business goals.
  • Engage with external vendors to evaluate solutions, new capabilities, products, and service offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
Experience:
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in designing and configuring secure and scalable cloud platforms, particularly on Azure.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud design patterns, cloud-native architecture, operations, and security models.
  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing high-volume, high-availability cloud applications with a strong focus on automation.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic long-term perspective while delivering tangible, business-driven solutions.
  • Strong programming skills with experience in API, .NET, SQL, Postgres, Angular, PowerShell, AKS, EKS, Kubernetes, Postman, JMeter, and Load Runner.
  • Experience working with offshore and contract development teams.
Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud services, including application integration, functions, cloud databases, developer tools, and security management.
  • Ability to navigate both abstract and concrete concepts effectively for diverse audiences.
  • Quick comprehension of organizational dynamics and management priorities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Capability to lead in-depth client meetings/workshops covering a wide range of topics, including discovery, cloud compliance, and security.
  • A critical thinker with robust research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
