Role Summary: The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring that both front and back-office staff deliver high-quality care in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role focuses on optimizing patient flow, maintaining staffing levels, and ensuring a safe and satisfactory environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Arrive prepared to perform duties at the start of each shift, adhering to scheduled breaks and return times.
  2. Maintain a professional appearance that reflects the values of Families Together of Orange County.
  3. Collect, organize, and analyze data for reporting purposes, presenting findings and recommendations to management.
  4. Support all organizational programs and specialized services.
  5. Oversee daily operational reports, inventory management, and staff meetings.
  6. Manage front office operations, including prioritizing patient care communications and assisting with appointment scheduling.
  7. Enhance clinic revenue by ensuring staff compliance with scheduling protocols and financial procedures.
  8. Implement and maintain effective check-in and check-out workflows.
  9. Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team collaboration.
  10. Oversee staff scheduling, time-off requests, and productivity management.
  11. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through staff training and quality assurance checks.
  12. Demonstrate respect and understanding for the concerns of patients and staff.
  13. Align with organizational goals, focusing on customer service and fiscal responsibility.
  14. Proactively respond to team requests and assist in resolving issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field.
  • Experience in managing healthcare facilities or clinics.
  • Proven experience in budget management and vendor negotiations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in community health organizations.
  • Strong customer service and patient registration experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including critical thinking and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
  • Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
